A design makeover
Growing by leaps and bounds, PA Associates (PA), a New York-based private real estate development company, realized it was time for a new graphic identity. As they prepared for a move to new state-of-the-art offices, they wanted a more modern and streamlined look – one that would reflect the company’s vision and its enduring focus on innovation and growth.

Making a mark
Central to this change was the need for a new logo and corporate stationery system. The logo needed to be distinctive and dynamic. More importantly, it needed to be easily recognizable, especially in the application of property signage. “After several rounds of design suggestions, CS Designworks produced an ideal image that would become the foundation of our new corporate brand,” says Carolyn Malinsky, PA Associates.

Next move: Website
Next CS Designworks collaborated with Malinsky to create a “ground-up” website featuring PA’s numerous development projects. For this, CSD created an interactive map that enables visitors to first see PA's large portfolio of properties at-a-glance. Then, by selecting a property of interest, the reader immediately gets access to two tiers of detailed information. Ease of navigation was vital to achieve all of this in just two clicks from the home page. In addition, CSD built a content managment system for the news section which allows PA to easily post its own press releases with an extremely user-friendly application.

CS Designworks involves the client in every step of the process – partnering with them to transform a vision into a customized solution. “Working with Carolyn made our job much easier,” says Nick Chiechi, principal of CS Designworks. “She is clear in her directive and leaves the rest to our creative team,” says Chiechi. This ensures no surprises and an end product that is born through true collaboration.
