Web Development for 40-year Young NYC Property Management Firm

Standing Out in the Competitive Manhattan Property Management Landscape

For four decades, Grogan & Associates, Inc. has provided full-service property management to New York property owners. The firm specializes in cooperative and condominium residences and currently represents 15 properties in Manhattan. The firm also offers apartment sales through its subsidiary, Grogan Homes.

Tim Grogan, Grogan & Associates Principle, reached out to CS Designworks for a website redevelopment with the following objectives: streamlining, simplifying, defining its value proposition, and growing its client base.

As with any new client, CS Designworks' first objective was to understand the client's goals, and next, to get a fix on the competitive landscape.

The Solution: A hybrid web development approach

Given the client's budget, we recommended a hybrid approach for development. This included working with a WordPress theme for the property listings section and custom development for all other areas of the site.

The theme was perfect for the listings section and saved the client substantial money as it had all the features required, including apartment sales and rentals delineation, property details and features, a Google map, floor plans, and a photo gallery. We imported helpful plugins such as "Walkscore", Yelp's "What's Nearby", and a mortgage calculator.

The Results: A happy client and effective shiny new website

CS Designworks' value for small businesses is understanding business objectives, being extremely hands-on, and working synergistically with the client every step of the way to achieve project goals. We treat every assignment personally as if it were our own, and we don't rest until the perfect product is delivered.

"The web development process is highly rewarding, especially with new clients and small business owners. Developing solid and lasting relationships, building trust, and displaying your design and production chops have served us well over the past 26 years."
